Dr. Elizabeth Cook Miller grew up in Richmond, Virginia and graduated from the Collegiate School in 1999. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Richmond where she also earned a swimming scholarship and served as captain of the college swim team.
Elizabeth joined our practice after completing her dental training at the Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Dentistry where she graduated Cum Laude in 2007. She then completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Michigan in 2009 where she received a Certificate and Masters of Science in Pediatric Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Elizabeth is married to Andrew Miller and they welcomed their first child in the spring of 2010. Elizabeth loves working with children and serving the dental needs of the community.
Dr. Miller did her undergraduate dental research in the Pediatric Dentistry department at Virginia Commonwealth University. After receiving the AD Williams Research Scholarship in 2006, she completed her research project titled Caregiver’s assessment of children’s oral health quality of life and the relationship with dental caries risk assessment.
In 2008, Dr. Miller presented at the AAPD Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. Her research was titled General Anesthesia Complications Associated with Platelet Deficiency.
Dr. Miller’s Masters Thesis was An Analysis of Classified Advertisements to Evaluate Trends in the Supply and Demand of Pediatric Dentists. Her work has enabled her to understand how the demand for pediatric dentists is rising faster and higher than the supply of pediatric dentists.

Fun Fact about Dr. Liz: She held two swim team records at the University of Richmond in the 200 IM and 400 IM.
Dr. Liz’s Hobbies: Swimming, baking, and playing with her dog Sammy.
